Chantelle's reflection
One thing I learnt this week was...
how to put a life jacket on properly.
I was learning this because...
we were learning about what happened in Stewart island.
I know I have learnt this because...
I was focused and listened to what was being said.
A question I now have is...
who’s idea was it to make the life jacket?
Next week I need to work on...
being able to float properly on my back.
The best activity of the week was...
learning how to float with a life jacket on because it was interesting.

I know someone who can.
I know someone who...
I know someone who can
wiggle her little toe.
I know someone who can
read a book in a day and night.
I know someone who can
eat the most food in a day.
I know someone who can
write 3 pages of work.
I know someone who can
yell a lot.
I know someone who can
make a very big mess in her room.
I know someone who can
eat corn with chocolate milk on it.
I know someone who can
get spoiled a lot.
I know someone who can
make a popping sound with her mouth.
I know someone who can
write really messy and neat.
I know someone who can
use her mind to create things.
I know someone who can
make up her own characters.
And that someone is
ME!

chantelles holiday story
Trip to Ashhurst
I was so excited because today was the day. I woke up and my mum told me to put my clothes on. After a few minutes we dropped my mum off at work and I said our journey begins here.
Off we went. When we were on the motorway my dad said to text north for the radio stations so I did. Each suburb we came to we changed radio stations.
Finally we came to Turangi for some breakfast. I had a bacon and egg Mcmuffin, Hashbrown and a hot chocolate.
We hit the road again and I asked my dad how long until Waiouru I think he said 2 hours I wasn’t excited when he said that but I just acted like I was. I saw the army museum and I said we’re here I got some lunch only a pie and one of my favourite drinks too.
I asked my dad how long until Ashhurst. It was about 3 hours, I was sort of excited when he said that but not really. I saw the four square and the windmills. I said “yeah we’re here”. We we’re nearly at my uncle’s house but when we got there know one was there. Luckily my dad had a spare key from the last time my mum dad and I came down.
